Conclusion on what van roof height to choose:
You’ll need to ask yourself how you plan to use your van. Do you need to able to park in a garage? Do you camp off-grid or in campgrounds? Do you want your van to blend in or stand out? Do you plan to use the upper bed every time you camp and want the maximum head room?
Most of the time, the interior height of the mid roof isn’t a factor for our customers. Our customers are outside hiking, biking, surfing, hunting, etc. They come inside to rest at the end of a long adventure packed day. So they are sitting or cooking or bent over taking off their dirty boots. We totally get how nice it is to have all the head room that a high roof offers. However, you just have to weigh the pros and cons of each for your own lifestyle.
